Vana is delighted to announce its second Young Vanavasi Retreat after the successful first one in June this year. This 7-night Retreat will be from August 12th – August 19th, 2018 and can also be attended for 5 nights, August 14th – August 19th. The retreat will continue to remain open for children below 16 years of age accompanied by adult family members.

Similar to our last Young Vanavasi Retreat, the days of this retreat will include elements of learning, sharing and fun based on Wisdom, Wellness, Creative Arts, Dance and Cuisine.

The itinerary will include pottery, gardening, dance lessons, painting and more, along with practical daily life skills, developing respect and gratitude for nature, understanding traditional wisdom and lifestyle guidance from Indian wisdom.

Treatments and consultations will be scheduled for the wellbeing of our Young Vanavasis. Vana Cuisine will embody its mindful and nourishing qualities and yet be creative and fun. A gentler form of yoga and other types of movement and sports will be part of daily wellbeing activities.

There will be no charge for Young Vanavasis of 3 years and below. Children above 3 years will be charged as INR 5,000 per child. This pricing is applicable when sharing room with parents/guardians. The charge for an additional room will be INR 15,000 per night.

• Esteva Suite and Vana Suite prices are also available on request.

Inclusions of the Retreat:

  • All cuisine including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • A consultation on arrival and a Wellness Summary on departure
  • Vana retreat attire changed daily. This includes footwear.
  • Airport transfers in Dehradun
  • 1 wellness-weight per adult per night – choose from an array of treatments and private sessions in our Wellness Menu
  • Group sessions that form part of our weekly Retreat Calendar for adults. Group activities as part of program schedule planned for children.

Some important points to note:

  • Check-in and check-out times would be applicable
  • Cuisine and living spaces will be adapted for our Young Vanavasis
  • Certain spaces in the Retreat will be restricted for children as they might not be entirely safe for them, especially if they are very young.
  • Though certain Vana spaces will adapt to welcome Young Vanavasis, it will continue to be a place of wellbeing for the Vanavasis on regular retreat.
